In the context of developing and providing enhanced services and products, our company recently hosted a delegation from the MTC at our facilities.
The MTC (Malaysian Timber Council) was established in January 1992 to promote the wealth and expertise of the Malaysian timber industry.
The members of the MTC are established professionals in the timber industry and are appointed by the Malaysian Ministry of Plantation and Commodities.
The PURPOSE of the MTC delegation’s visit was to inform us about the Malaysian market of timber products and its development at an industrial scale, which is of increasing global interest.
In turn, we informed MTC about the Greek market, the needs created by the increase in timber applications, the challenges and difficulties of the industry and our willingness to incorporate contemporary and innovative solutions in the services and products we contribute to the global timber market.

30/05/2022 - ARCHITECTURE EVENT AT THE BENAKI MUSEUM
The ROUCHOTAS company, whose sole scope of work is timber, once again participated as a sponsor in the Architecture Event ''MATERIAL MATTERS vol.3''.
The event was organised by the EK ArchitecturePlusDesign magazine in the atrium of the Benaki Museum.
The event’s main theme was WOOD, an important material in the Greek industry, with particularly promising applications in construction and architecture. The event was highly successful, due to the strong attendance and engagement of the public.

The AFI ROUCHOTA EPE company remained faithful to its marketing framework and showed its support of innovative projects by becoming a sponsor of the event organised by the architectural magazine “ek”, in collaboration with the Hellenic Institute of Architecture, to celebrate the 40 creative years of ISV Architects career.
The event was attended by more than 600 people, who honoured with their presence Babis Ioannou, Tasos Sotiropoulos and Alexander Van Gilder - the famous ISVs - who have completed 40 years of creating unique projects which, through their architectural and construction quality, have contributed to shaping a new image of the city's environment, suburbs and the Greek countryside.
